I once dried out a cell phone and it worked so I hope your camera does too.

As long as no lenses were shattered – there may be a chance.

GOOD LUCK!

First if you took the battery out of the camera as soon as you found it wet, there may be some hope. Next if you put it in a zip lock bag with some uncooked rice and set it in the sun and let the mositure out from time to time and replaced the rice as it got moist, maybe.

You will still need to take it into a camera repair shop to have the lens and sensor cleaned and the mechanical portions lubricated.

My faithful camera and my Pod.

The Pod is a flexible bean-bag mount for a camera. It has a small screw on it that goes into the camera’s tripod mount. Being flexible you can easily balance it on all kinds of irregular surfaces, and can tilt the camera as well if you need to. The whole thing is small enough to pop into your pocket. Whilst not as stable as a tripod it’s still a very useful little toy.
