-Low noise with high ISO

-More about the lens, and how “fast” they are. A good low light lens will have a low f-stop. And having Vibration Reduction or Image Stabilization helps a lot too.

The Nikon D90 is one of the highest rated camera’s for low light

But after all it’s the lens that does the job.

A crapy lens on a D90 doesn’t give you a good photo.

Put a F1.8 or F2.8 lens on the D90 and your getting somewhere.

And also longer exposure time combined with a tripod will help

Lowepro Pro Trekker with a View Camera, V.1

Concept by just Lowepro Pro Trekker with a View Camera, V.1

Toyo view camera packed in Lowepro Pro Trekker AW II backpack.

As the camera itself has weight of 4.7 kg and empty backpack weights 4.3kg, the total weight gets heavy. With 5-6 film backs and four lenses, this setup weights 16.8 kg.

But as the backpack is really good, it is easy to carry. Only when climbing upstairs or to the hill it really remings me of it’s weight. Not forgetting the tripod which weights over 5 kg also…

Additional ‘daypack’ can attached to the back of the Pro Trekker. I use it often, it gives plenty of space for additional clothes, quickloads, roll film back etc.

Actually I have used Pro Trekker for carrying everything I need withing four weeks trip at Japan. The camera gears were packed inside the main backpack. Clothes, films, tourist guides and everything else in the daypack.
