I’m look for the nomenclature or the general name for a remote controlled camera. The type of camera I’m talking about either has a joystick or in most cases a flat remote that controls the tilt, pan and zoom of the camera. I’ve seen a few people use them as their web cams. Every time I google “remote controlled camera” I get a lot of garbage. If you know the name of this type of setup or even better you have a link that would more than help me out. Thanks!

Actually, you are close… I’ve seen them referred to as “Pan Tilt Zoom camera” or “PTZ camera”. This generally refers to a “security” or surveillance cam with those controls, but the IP network based security cams can also be used as webcams.
