Actually – it was… Either a Sony HDR-FX1 or HDR-FX1000.

And if you saw the film – then you saw the camcorder in the mirror. I have a HDR-FX1 – easy to recognize. The FX1000 replaced it – same basic design. (and not a HVR-Z1 because there were no XLR audio connectors on the camcorder used). And I have the same NRG Research accessory bracket…
